Preschool SAFARI is designed for families who desire an early learning education experience with a childcare component available. There will be a licensed preschool teacher giving preschool instruction for 2.5 hours during the day with a paraprofessional. Preschool Safari - Is a brand new mixed age (Three and Four Year Old) five day per week (half-day) preschool program with before and after care available at Hillcrest Community School, Normandale Hills, Westwood, and Poplar Bridge Elementary. Preschool for Four's is a five day per week (half-day) preschool for four yr olds and is taught by a licensed preschool teacher. Transportation is available. General education tuition uses a sliding fee scale and is based on family size and income. Preschool for Three's is a two or three day per week (half-day) preschool for three yr olds and is taught by a licensed preschool teacher. General education tuition uses a sliding fee scale and is based on family size and income. Step into Preschool is designed for children who turn 3 between September 1, 2020-January 31, 2021. Preschool summer programming is a tuition free four-week language and literacy rich preschool experience for children who will be in preschool in the fall. Classes will be held July 6 - 30, Monday - Friday. Camp/Summit SAFARI is full-day childcare for youth entering Kindergarten through 6th Grade. *Space is limited, site is not guaranteed.* Early Camp SAFARI is a full-day childcare for 3, 4 or 5-year olds that are currently enrolled in ELA for the 2020/21 school year. Early Learners Academy is an early education experience for 3, 4 or 5-year olds. It's designed for working families who need full-day child care and desire a Kindergarten readiness experience for the Bloomington Public Schools Kindergarten curriculum. During Distance only education, we are providing care for Tier 1 workers in two locations, Poplar Bridge and Indian Mounds Elementary Schools. The general school population will be able to enroll if not all spots are filled by Tier 1 families. |
