Estate Planning Solutions

Learn when a will is sufficient, and when you might opt for a trust. You'll learn about ways to avoid probate, which is the court process for settling your estate. Probate costs time and money if you don't take steps to avoid it.  Health care directives and powers of attorney will be reviewed.  Discussion of common mistakes will help you avoid the unwanted consequences that others have faced.  Bonnie Wittenberg is an estate planning, probate and trust administration lawyer.

Bonnie Wittenburg

Bonnie Wittenburg is an estate planning, probate and trust administration lawyer who takes special pride in her ability to explain complex concepts in easy-to-understand ways. As a baby boomer, Bonnie’s life experiences include the deaths of her parents, deaths of friends, and her father’s ill-prepared succession plan for the family business. Indeed, Bonnie’s bad experience with her father’s estate plan is a key reason that she is so passionate today about good estate planning. Bonnie has a bachelor’s degree from Drake University, an MBA from Columbia University and a law degree from the University of St. Thomas.
