    Our indoor tracks are open from October 16th to April 12th. Hours October 16th to January 26th: Jefferson Activity Center: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6 AM to 10 AM, and Monday through Thursday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Kennedy Activity Center: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 AM to 10 AM, and Monday through Thursday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Hours from January 29th to April 12th: Jefferson Activity Center: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 AM to 10 AM, and Monday through Thursday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Kennedy Activity Center: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6 AM to 10 AM, and Monday through Thursday from 6 PM to 9 PM.   • 2023-24 Step into Preschool

    Step into Preschool is currently full. Please reach out to our office at 952-681-6200 with questions. Step into Preschool is a class designed for children who turn 3 after September 1st, 2023. Children will get a taste of what preschool is like in this class. A licensed teacher will provide opportunities for children to work on social emotional, language and literacy skills through read alouds, conversation and singing with friends and adults other than their caregivers. Playtime on the playground and/or in the gym will be included throughout the day. Classes will be offered 2 days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-11:30am at Valley View Elementary School. Registrations will be processed in the order in which they are received based on your child's date of birth. Children MUST be 3 years old and potty trained before attending class. Sliding fee scale applies. This class will be billed monthly. You will also be eligible for early preschool registration for the 2024-2025 school year when enrolled in this class.

  • 2024 Bloomington Summer Community Musical: Disney's High School Musical

    Gr. 7-12 Registration is open for the Bloomington Summer Musical which will be held on July 25 at 10 a.m. (senior preview) July 26 at 7 p.m. and July 27 & 28 at 3 p.m. at Jefferson High School. Please go to www.jeffersontheatrecompany.org for details on the show including title, audition requirements. We are looking for actors and stage crew for this show. All who register participate. This is a no cut production. To participate as an actor or tech crew member please register by May 1, 2024. No rehearsal June 19, July 4, 5. Open for performers entering 7th grade through graduating seniors. Tech crew will come to the first rehearsal on June 10 at which time a complete tech schedule will be determined. Performances: July 25 at 10 a.m. (senior preview) July 26 at 7 p.m. and July 27 & 28 at 3 p.m. at Jefferson High School. Tuition: $200 for performers; $145 for tech crew. Scholarships available!   • 3D Printing: Build Your Own Robot

    Gr. 4-8 3D printing is here to stay! This camp is for campers who have no or limited experience with 3D printing and is ideal for campers who like to draw, design and see their creations come to life.= Campers will be learning the ropes of 3D modeling and printing and use TinkerCAD to design parts for their robots. By the end of the week, they will have 2 DC-powered robots--a sketch bot and a drive bot. Campers must be comfortable with using a laptop and mouse to design their creations. Bring a water bottle and nut-free snack daily.

  • Acing the Bloomington Time-of-Sale Test

    Bloomington home owners who plan to sell their home are required to complete the Bloomington time-of-sale inspection prior to listing their house on the market. In this course, you will learn how the inspection process works, what the inspectors look for and how to best prepare for the inspection. You will also learn about well sealing requirements, radon testing and mitigation. After taking this course you will be prepared to ace the time-of-sale test!
  • Acrylic Pouring - Beach Wave

    New Class! Learn how to create fun and easy fluid art. Instead of paint brushes, we will use gravity to move the paint and different techniques to create two ocean-inspired pours. It's a lot of fun (and somewhat addicting!) and a great way to spark your creative energy. You will create two 8"x 8" canvases and transport them home in a provided tray. Your final piece will change during transportation and when it is completely dry.
