Camp SAFARI is full-day childcare for youth entering Kindergarten through 4th Grade in 2025-26. Summit SAFARI is for children entering 5th and 6th grade in 2025-25. *Space is limited, site is not guaranteed.*
Early Camp SAFARI is a full-day childcare for 4 or 5-year olds that are currently enrolled in a Bloomington Public Schools Preschool program and registered for Kindergarten for the 2026/27 school year.
Kids' SAFARI is a before and after school program offered for children in kindergarten through grade 5. The focus of these programs is on school-age childcare and enrichment opportunities designed to meet the changing needs of children and families.
Preschool SAFARI is designed for families registered for a 5-day afternoon Preschool Class.

Bring a little sparkle into your home with a one-of-a-kind sun catcher! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design andfill a wooden sun catcher frame using colorful crushed glass pieces. Once your design is complete, you’ll learn how touse resin to seal the glass in place, creating a luminous piece that catches the light beautifully in any window. Abox will be provided to transport your finished piece home. Choose between a dragonfly, hummingbird, fish, or flower.
Lisa Van Wyk, a passionate art educator for over 19 years, is the owner of Art Innovators & KidzArt. These enrichment programs are Lisa's way of fostering the creative spark in minds of all ages. With a B.A. in Fine Arts from Hamline University and a M.A. in Art Education from the University of Minnesota, Lisa brings a strong foundation in artistic practice and pedagogy to her teaching. But for Lisa, art is more than just technique. It's about embracing the freedom to explore, to take risks, and to trust your own creative vision.
