Camp SAFARI is full-day childcare for youth entering Kindergarten through 4th Grade in 2025-26. Summit SAFARI is for children entering 5th and 6th grade in 2025-25. *Space is limited, site is not guaranteed.*
Early Camp SAFARI is a full-day childcare for 4 or 5-year olds that are currently enrolled in a Bloomington Public Schools Preschool program and registered for Kindergarten for the 2026/27 school year.
Kids' SAFARI is a before and after school program offered for children in kindergarten through grade 5. The focus of these programs is on school-age childcare and enrichment opportunities designed to meet the changing needs of children and families.
Preschool SAFARI is designed for families registered for a 5-day afternoon Preschool Class.
Gift or Donation
Summer Galaxy is a fun, high-energy 7-week summer program for middle school students! Scholars will explore new activities, enjoy pool time, participate in exciting field trips, and build friendships in a structured, supervised environment. Each day offers something different, giving students a chance to try new things, stay active, connect with peers, and create memorable summer experiences.
Important Program Information: To help families determine whether Summer Galaxy is a good fit for their child, please note that Bloomington Community Education staff are not able to administer or manage medications, and Summer Galaxy does not provide 1:1 support or inclusion support services at this time. Please keep these limitations in mind when registering to ensure the program is an appropriate fit for your child’s support needs.
