  • Bloomington Try Hockey for Free!

    PK-Gr. 4  The Bloomington Try Hockey for Free! program is hosting 9 Summer "Learn to Play" classes focused on PK -  Grade 4 students who have an interest in ice hockey.  These free classes are available to any Bloomington Preschooler, Kindergartner, and First through Fourth Grade student (public, private, or home-schooled) who would like to hit the ice.  Classes will be held at the Bloomington Ice Garden Rink 3.  Parents - please transport your children to the site on the dates noted.  Arrive at least 15 minutes before class starts.  There will be certified USA Hockey Coaches and Volunteers to help them get equipped and on the ice. This "Learn to Play" class will last one hour.  Please pick up your child after the class.  Note: Register just once and you can attend all the sessions, or as many as you would like to attend!  Parents are responsible for transportation to the rink and back home.  Parents may stay for the class.No equipment needed, however if your child has skates, please bring them.  Dress appropriately for ice hockey - no shorts or short sleeves.  Free equipment is handed out at the first session. If you are unable to make the first session, please contact the course instructor and they will arrange for equipment to be picked up after the first day.  Attendance at all the sessions is neither required or expected.  Come when you can , leave when you must!Instructor contact:  Josh Levine (josh.levine16@gmail.com).
  • Gymnastics Sampler with Legacy Gymnastics

    New Class!  Ages 5-12  In this class your child will get a taste of all four Olympic events in gymnastics:  floor, beam, bars, and vault.  Improve coordination, balance, and have fun - all at the same time!  Learn the basic gymnastics shapes and skills like cartwheels, rolls, handstands, and so much more.  This class is held at Legacy Gymnastics, 7593 Corporate Way in Eden Prairie.
  • Indoor Rock Climbing Base Camp, Vertical Endeavors Bloomington

    Vertical Endeavors Bloomington 1/2 Day Indoor Rock Climbing Camps offer children ages 6 to 13 the opportunity to explore the sport of rock climbing in a controlled setting that is fun and exciting for kids of all skill levels.  No experience is necessary.  In addition to our focus on fun, all camps place a strong emphasis on risk management in the sport of rock climbing.  The week will culminate with a pizza party and tyrolean traverse.  Your child will leave the camp with a deeper understanding of rock climbing.Base Camp is for kids ages 6-9.  This camp will introduce kids to the sport of rock climbing by teaching climbing basics.  Covered in class will be risk management, knot tying, and there will be an introduction to roped climbing.  Campers will improve their climbing skill and confidence through a variety of activities and games.Climbing equipment and instruction is provided by Vertical Endeavors.Your child needs the following:Facility Waiver - available online at https://smartwaiver.rockgympro.com/portal/sw/lw?kiosk=0&onlinekey=veduluth&swguid=5adf620d3a8bc&web=1Wear comfortable clothing.     Vertical Endeavors Bloomington 1/2 Day Indoor Rock Climbing Camps offer children ages 6 to 13 the opportunity to explore the sport of rock climbing in a controlled setting that is fun and exciting for kids of all skill levels. No experience is necessary.
