Bloomington Public School's Driver's Education program collaborates with A+ Driving School to provide students classroom/behind-the-wheel package options. These classes are for students who are not signed up to take it as a credit during their regular school day--high school credits are not earned. The total cost is $420.00 for the classroom & behind-the-wheel package. An $80 registration fee is due when enrolling. Students may enroll if they are 14-1/2 years of age. To pass the classroom portion, students must attend all 30 hours of instruction. The student will be given information about registering for the 6 hours of Behind-the-Wheel training, and will need to pay $145 to A+ Driving School to receive their blue card. Once the student receives their blue card, they may take their state permit exam at a DVS exam station (you must schedule an appointment--go to: onlineservices.dps.mn.gov). The remainder of the payments to A+ Driving School can be paid at the time of the three Behind the Wheel lessons ($65 per lesson).

Cancellations received 5 or more business days prior to the start of class will receive a refund less a $10 processing fee. Cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the start of class will not receive a refund
