Preschool summer programming is a four-week language and literacy rich preschool experience. Classes will be held July 8th-August 1st, Monday - Thursday from 9a-11:30a.
Camp SAFARI is full-day childcare for youth entering Kindergarten through 4th Grade in 2024-25. Summit SAFARI is for children entering 5th and 6th grade in 2024-25. *Space is limited, site is not guaranteed.*
Early Camp SAFARI is a full-day childcare for 3, 4 or 5-year olds that are currently enrolled in a Bloomington Public Schools Preschool program.
Kids' SAFARI is a before and after school program offered for children in kindergarten through grade 5. The focus of these programs is on school-age childcare and enrichment opportunities designed to meet the changing needs of children and families.
Preschool SAFARI is designed for families who desire an early learning education experience with a childcare component available. There will be a licensed preschool teacher giving preschool instruction for 2.5 hours during the day with a paraprofessional.
New for 2023-24, afterschool Targeted Services programming will now all be under one umbrella and called Fusion. It will be a 4 day a week program, Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm to 4:45pm.
Gr. K-5 This Monday-Thursday summer camp is an introduction to the French language where students will learn about the Olympic games from the French-speaking world. Designed for students in grades K - 5, Alliance Francaise will instruct students using French-speaking instructors with training and experience in teaching children the French language. Engaging activities will center on Olympic Games using French vocabulary, grammar, and execution, along with introductions to the French-speaking world. Alliance Francaise is a non-profit French cultural center in the Twin Cities. Campers should bring a water bottle and nut-free snack daily.
We believe immersion is the best means of learning French and we owe our success to that philosophy. In our classes, students enjoy a simultaneous cultural and linguistic education.
