Camp SAFARI is full-day childcare for youth entering Kindergarten through 4th Grade in 2024-25. Summit SAFARI is for children entering 5th and 6th grade in 2024-25. *Space is limited, site is not guaranteed.*
Early Camp SAFARI is a full-day childcare for 3, 4 or 5-year olds that are currently enrolled in a Bloomington Public Schools Preschool program.
Kids' SAFARI is a before and after school program offered for children in kindergarten through grade 5. The focus of these programs is on school-age childcare and enrichment opportunities designed to meet the changing needs of children and families.
Preschool SAFARI is designed for families who desire an early learning education experience with a childcare component available. There will be a licensed preschool teacher giving preschool instruction for 2.5 hours during the day with a paraprofessional.
New for 2023-24, afterschool Targeted Services programming will now all be under one umbrella and called Fusion. It will be a 4 day a week program, Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm to 4:45pm.
New! Gr. 6-8 Embark on an exhilarating Environmental Adventure Camp at Olson Middle School! Dive into professional-grade water quality tests, invasive species surveys, and the intricate world of habitat restoration in the pond, guided by experienced Green Crew counselors. Engage as budding scientists, exploring nature's intricacies and contributing profoundly to our planet. For 6th to 8th graders passionate about environmental stewardship, this immersive week fosters deeper scientific skills and a lasting commitment to Earth's preservation. Join us for an inspiring journey of advanced discovery and conservation! This is a full day camp. Participants need to bring a nut-free lunch, 2 nut-free snacks, a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen.
