Embark on a flavorful journey through Ethiopia and Eritrea with Chef Mimi’s Ethiopian and Eritrean cooking classes! Whether you’re a vegetarian or a meat lover, you’ll learn to create authentic dishes like injera, savory stews, and flavorful lentils, all bursting with unique spices and rich traditions. Chef Mimi will guide you step-by-step, helping you master the art of these bold, comforting cuisines and bring the heart of East Africa to your table.  $20 supply fee collected by instructor in class.  Bring to-go containers to class.

Mimi Selam

Chef Mimi is a passionate cooking instructor with a contagious enthusiasm for cuisine. Her expertise spans global flavors covering a wide range of cuisines from Mediterranean, Italian, Asian, South American, Ethiopian/Eritrean to Caribbean styles. Mimi teaches students of all ages and skill levels, both in-person, virtually, private and for team-activities across the Midwest, Southwest, and beyond.  

With nearly a decade of teaching experience, Chef Mimi brings the joy of cooking to people of all ages through engaging, beginner-friendly classes. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced cook, her classes are fun, interactive, and accessible. Specializing in global flavors, Chef Mimi offers a diverse range of cooking experiences.
