Making Choices with Purpose

Adults w/ Disabilities / LE Personal Leisure & Healthy Lifestyles -
Spring 2026 AR & LE

You are the boss and expert of yourself! Join us as we explore more skills to make healthy choices every day that honor your mind, body, and emotions while staying safe and empowered!

Enjoy discovering the difference between quick, emotion-based choices and choices that require thought and planning.

Learn to recognize when someone might be pressuring you or trying to take advantage of you, as well as listen to your body's signals about what feels safe and right for you.

You have the right to make choices and decisions that are good for you – to ask questions, take your time, and change your mind.

This class is valuable to build on concepts from ‘The Art of Consent’ and has useful content when taken alone.

Led by Tom Colbert, licensed psychologist.

We suggest also registering for "The Art of Consent" which is on Sunday, April 12, from 2 - 4 pm.  See "The Art of Consent" class listing for registration details.
