A Special One-Night Event at Perk Up Kitchen

Celebrate the leading ladies in your life (or just treat yourself!) with a hands-on session dedicated to the delicate, layered art of puff pastry and rich pastry cream. This class is designed for bakers of all levels who want to transform simple dough into stunning, bakery-quality Danish pastries. We’ll guide you through the "science" of laminated dough and the secrets to smooth, glossy crème pâtissière. Plan to take home a box of freshly baked pastries!!

What You Will Learn:

  • Puff Pastry Folds: Master essential folding techniques (e.g., book fold, letter fold) to create maximum lift and layers for classic Danish shapes.

  • Crème Pâtissière Perfection: Learn to whisk, temper, and flavor a silky-smooth pastry cream—the perfect filling for your creations.

  • Shaping Danishes: Transform your dough and cream into beautiful breakfast pastries like bear claws, pinwheels, and fruit pockets.

Date: Tuesday, April 20 | 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM, $49/person Includes a take home box of bakery treats.
