Now is the time to prepare for the bounteous fruits of summer. Be ready to "jam" when the berries, peaches, rhubarb, herbs and more are at their peak of taste and availability. Learn the difference between the various preserves and have the opportunity to taste several different kinds. You will prepare a batch of jam/jelly from start to finish, learn basic "hot water bath" techniques that are applicable to other canning projects and take home 1-2 jars to enjoy.
