Step into Preschool is designed for children who turn 3 after September 1st, 2025.
Camp SAFARI is full-day childcare for youth entering Kindergarten through 4th Grade in 2025-26. Summit SAFARI is for children entering 5th and 6th grade in 2025-25. *Space is limited, site is not guaranteed.*
Kids' SAFARI is a before and after school program offered for children in kindergarten through grade 5. The focus of these programs is on school-age childcare and enrichment opportunities designed to meet the changing needs of children and families.
Preschool SAFARI is designed for families who desire an early learning education experience with a childcare component available. There will be a licensed preschool teacher giving preschool instruction for 2.5 hours during the day with a paraprofessional.
New for 2023-24, afterschool Targeted Services programming will now all be under one umbrella and called Fusion. It will be a 4 day a week program, Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm to 4:45pm.

Pack your bags and your imagination! This summer, embark on exciting adventures without ever leaving Bloomington. In "Beyond Our Backyard: Cultural Journeys in Children's Books," young explorers (Grades K-5) will delve into vibrant stories that showcase the rich tapestry of cultures around the world.
Each day, we'll open the pages of captivating children's books, several penned by talented local Black authors, that celebrate unique cultural traditions, mouthwatering foods, joyful songs, and the power of community building. Through engaging crafts and hands-on activities inspired by the stories, kids will bring these faraway worlds to life.
From learning about special celebrations to discovering new ways of connecting with others, this camp promises a week of enriching experiences and heartwarming tales. As a special keepsake, each child will take home at least one of the wonderful books we explore, allowing the cultural journey to continue long after camp ends. Get ready to expand your horizons and discover the beautiful diversity of our world, one story at a time!
