Learn How to Read Financial Statements for Business, Investing...or Fun

Adult Enrichment / Business and Investment -
Fall 2025 Bloomington Youth and Adult Enrichment

This class is for business people, investing enthusiasts, or anyone who wants to build basic financial skills to analyze a company's business. You don't need any experience - we will start from the beginning. We will pick an important Minnesota company and learn about its business (and the numbers and dollars behind it) by examining its actual 2024 financial statements. We will learn how financial statements work and how they describe a business; we'll also learn about their shortcomings and how to use financial statements to spot red flags at a company. The class will be informative and fun and you will develop tangible financial skills.
