Preschool summer programming is a four-week language and literacy rich preschool experience. Classes will be held July 8th-August 1st, Monday - Thursday from 9a-11:30a.
Camp SAFARI is full-day childcare for youth entering Kindergarten through 4th Grade in 2024-25. Summit SAFARI is for children entering 5th and 6th grade in 2024-25. *Space is limited, site is not guaranteed.*
Early Camp SAFARI is a full-day childcare for 3, 4 or 5-year olds that are currently enrolled in a Bloomington Public Schools Preschool program.
Kids' SAFARI is a before and after school program offered for children in kindergarten through grade 5. The focus of these programs is on school-age childcare and enrichment opportunities designed to meet the changing needs of children and families.
Preschool SAFARI is designed for families who desire an early learning education experience with a childcare component available. There will be a licensed preschool teacher giving preschool instruction for 2.5 hours during the day with a paraprofessional.
New for 2023-24, afterschool Targeted Services programming will now all be under one umbrella and called Fusion. It will be a 4 day a week program, Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm to 4:45pm.
Explore the ancient art of Bonsai. This two week hands-on course will help take away the mystique and help you create, style, and maintain your own tree. The first week we will focus on discovering the tree. The second week will have you returning with your tree and work on reporting and additional styling. Lionel Flood is a past president and over 30 year member of the Minnesota Bonsai Society. $50 material fee paid to the instructor on the first day of class.
Past president and member of the Minnesota Bonsai Society since 1991. Co-instructor of bonsai basics and intermediates class. Current workshop chairperson. I also teach at many local community adult education programs.
