Preschool summer programming is a four-week language and literacy rich preschool experience. Classes will be held July 8th-August 1st, Monday - Thursday from 9a-11:30a.
Camp SAFARI is full-day childcare for youth entering Kindergarten through 4th Grade in 2024-25. Summit SAFARI is for children entering 5th and 6th grade in 2024-25. *Space is limited, site is not guaranteed.*
Early Camp SAFARI is a full-day childcare for 3, 4 or 5-year olds that are currently enrolled in a Bloomington Public Schools Preschool program.
Kids' SAFARI is a before and after school program offered for children in kindergarten through grade 5. The focus of these programs is on school-age childcare and enrichment opportunities designed to meet the changing needs of children and families.
Preschool SAFARI is designed for families who desire an early learning education experience with a childcare component available. There will be a licensed preschool teacher giving preschool instruction for 2.5 hours during the day with a paraprofessional.
New for 2023-24, afterschool Targeted Services programming will now all be under one umbrella and called Fusion. It will be a 4 day a week program, Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm to 4:45pm.
Ages 5+ Not just a punching, kicking, self-defense class. Kung Fu teaches awareness of self and surroundings, and improves self-esteem and confidence. Join a FUN, progressive, full participation class that focuses on helping students develop leadership, discipline, concentration and coordination skills for a healthy mind and body. Improve your strength, flexibility and endurance. Learn the lifelong benefits of Kung Fu, the Chinese art of self-defense and fitness from a Hong Kong champion. This is a skill-building, progressive training program for beginners through Black Belt. SiFu Al Lam,(International Master-Temple trained in China) was a Hong Kong Champion. He has over 35 years of teaching experience with youth & adults. He was the instructor of the University of MN Chinese Kung Fu Club for 13 years and was awarded "Instructor of the Year" by the U of M Recreational Sports Department.
