Preschool summer programming is a four-week language and literacy rich preschool experience. Classes will be held July 8th-August 1st, Monday - Thursday from 9a-11:30a.
Camp SAFARI is full-day childcare for youth entering Kindergarten through 4th Grade in 2024-25. Summit SAFARI is for children entering 5th and 6th grade in 2024-25. *Space is limited, site is not guaranteed.*
Early Camp SAFARI is a full-day childcare for 3, 4 or 5-year olds that are currently enrolled in a Bloomington Public Schools Preschool program.
Kids' SAFARI is a before and after school program offered for children in kindergarten through grade 5. The focus of these programs is on school-age childcare and enrichment opportunities designed to meet the changing needs of children and families.
Preschool SAFARI is designed for families who desire an early learning education experience with a childcare component available. There will be a licensed preschool teacher giving preschool instruction for 2.5 hours during the day with a paraprofessional.
New for 2023-24, afterschool Targeted Services programming will now all be under one umbrella and called Fusion. It will be a 4 day a week program, Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm to 4:45pm.
Ages 6-9 Looking for a more in-depth ballet class without losing creativity and fun? This class is your answer! We will use the Wish Upon a Ballet curriculum, but go even further into specific ballet technique. Your child will not only think it is fun, but they will improve posture, strength, and flexibility in a positive and self-esteem building atmosphere. Dance is proven to not only build strong bodies, but strong minds and self-esteem as well! This class is for beginners as well as students with previous dance experience. Friends and family are invited to a special performance at the end of the last day of the session. Ballet shoes are required.
Mayer Arts' belief about teaching is not only to provide training for those who are serious about learning, but also to just have fun! We teach proper technique, terminology, body awareness, and an appreciation for the arts. Our goal is that students will not only find a love for the arts, but also build healthy habits and self-esteem--skills that will be helpful to them for the rest of their lives!
