Camp SAFARI is full-day childcare for youth entering Kindergarten through 4th Grade in 2024-25. Summit SAFARI is for children entering 5th and 6th grade in 2024-25. *Space is limited, site is not guaranteed.*
Early Camp SAFARI is a full-day childcare for 3, 4 or 5-year olds that are currently enrolled in a Bloomington Public Schools Preschool program.
Kids' SAFARI is a before and after school program offered for children in kindergarten through grade 5. The focus of these programs is on school-age childcare and enrichment opportunities designed to meet the changing needs of children and families.
Preschool SAFARI is designed for families who desire an early learning education experience with a childcare component available. There will be a licensed preschool teacher giving preschool instruction for 2.5 hours during the day with a paraprofessional.
New for 2023-24, afterschool Targeted Services programming will now all be under one umbrella and called Fusion. It will be a 4 day a week program, Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm to 4:45pm.
New! Gr. 4-8 3D Printing introduces campers to a new world of possibilities! This camp is for campers who like to draw, design and see their creations come to life. Campers will learn the ropes of 3D modeling and printing using TinkerCAD to design their jewelry or wearable creations from scratch--two of which they get to print and take home. To allow everyone to print their creations, items may have to be scaled down to allow printing during camp times. Campers must be comfortable with using a laptop and mouse to design their creations. Bring a water bottle and nut-free snack to camp daily.
