Step into Preschool is designed for children who turn 3 after September 1st, 2024.
Camp SAFARI is full-day childcare for youth entering Kindergarten through 4th Grade in 2025-26. Summit SAFARI is for children entering 5th and 6th grade in 2025-25. *Space is limited, site is not guaranteed.*
Kids' SAFARI is a before and after school program offered for children in kindergarten through grade 5. The focus of these programs is on school-age childcare and enrichment opportunities designed to meet the changing needs of children and families.
Preschool SAFARI is designed for families who desire an early learning education experience with a childcare component available. There will be a licensed preschool teacher giving preschool instruction for 2.5 hours during the day with a paraprofessional.
New for 2023-24, afterschool Targeted Services programming will now all be under one umbrella and called Fusion. It will be a 4 day a week program, Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm to 4:45pm.
Early Camp SAFARI is a full-day childcare for 3, 4 or 5-year olds that are currently enrolled in a Bloomington Public Schools Preschool program.
Gr. K-5 DASH Sports soccer camps provide players a well-rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer skills training (dribbling, passing, shooting, & defense) and skill-based games. Players will be challenged and grouped at an appropriate level while receiving instruction in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes and shin guards are optional). Balls are provided.
After School Enrichment Class Procedure:
1. Let your teacher know about your child’s registration in an after-school class.
2. There is a check in and a short snack time in the lunchroom before class starts so please send a snack with your child.
3. Instructors escort kids to the classroom after snack and deliver them either back to Kids Safari (if they are enrolled that afternoon) or kids not in Kids Safari to the main entrance for parent pick up. We will not send kids out to cars so please come to the door and check out with the instructor.
4. Notify the school of absences or early pickups.
