Camp SAFARI is full-day childcare for youth entering Kindergarten through 4th Grade in 2025-26. Summit SAFARI is for children entering 5th and 6th grade in 2025-25. *Space is limited, site is not guaranteed.*
Kids' SAFARI is a before and after school program offered for children in kindergarten through grade 5. The focus of these programs is on school-age childcare and enrichment opportunities designed to meet the changing needs of children and families.
Preschool SAFARI is designed for families who desire an early learning education experience with a childcare component available. There will be a licensed preschool teacher giving preschool instruction for 2.5 hours during the day with a paraprofessional.
New for 2023-24, afterschool Targeted Services programming will now all be under one umbrella and called Fusion. It will be a 4 day a week program, Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm to 4:45pm.
This course taught by longtime labor and delivery nurses is designed to equip expectant parents with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to navigate the journey of childbirth. Topics for discussion include: labor induction, natural birth options, pain medications, risk factors in pregnancy, cesarean section, fear about birth, and medical terminology related to labor.
Chanda Lyons, RNC, and Lisa Shedlov Mesick, RNC, have 58 years combined experience as Labor and Delivery nurses at a local hospital. They love to teach and started a business, Let's Talk Labor Coaching, to offer Labor Education classes both virtually for one on one, personalized classes, and in-person classes for a group setting.
