Outside and learning…naturally! This outdoor class is focused on exploring and discovering. Math, science and language skills will be fostered through play. You and your child will spend time together discovering new ways of being outdoors at Pond-Dakota Mission Park (401 E 104th Street, Bloomington) with a licensed early childhood teacher. If the weather does not allow outdoor play for the full 90 minutes, the teacher will meet you at Pond Center (9600 3rd Ave So, Bloomington) to bring the exploration inside.
This is a non-separating class and does not have parent education.
Learning goals for this class are:
Adults and children will connect with each other through exploring nature activities.
Children will develop a connection to a natural area and notice the changes in it across the seasons.
