Preschool summer programming is a four-week language and literacy rich preschool experience. Classes will be held July 8th-August 1st, Monday - Thursday from 9a-11:30a.
Camp SAFARI is full-day childcare for youth entering Kindergarten through 4th Grade in 2024-25. Summit SAFARI is for children entering 5th and 6th grade in 2024-25. *Space is limited, site is not guaranteed.*
Early Camp SAFARI is a full-day childcare for 3, 4 or 5-year olds that are currently enrolled in a Bloomington Public Schools Preschool program.
Kids' SAFARI is a before and after school program offered for children in kindergarten through grade 5. The focus of these programs is on school-age childcare and enrichment opportunities designed to meet the changing needs of children and families.
Preschool SAFARI is designed for families who desire an early learning education experience with a childcare component available. There will be a licensed preschool teacher giving preschool instruction for 2.5 hours during the day with a paraprofessional.
New for 2023-24, afterschool Targeted Services programming will now all be under one umbrella and called Fusion. It will be a 4 day a week program, Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm to 4:45pm.
In this Latino culture-focused class, parents and their children will play, sing songs, meet other families, and learn together. A licensed early childhood teacher provides fun learning activities for children from birth to five years. A licensed parent educator will talk with parents about parenting issues, child development, making friends, behavior, and more.
Classes will have parent education in the children’s classroom at the beginning and work towards gradual separation in another room later. Children under the age of 2 may be required to stay with their adult. This class meets every week for the whole school year.
This class is for Spanish-speaking families. Our teachers speak English and we will have our Spanish speaking staff for translation.
Learning goals for this class are:
The child will independently explore the classroom and learn through play.
The child will begin to comfortably separate from their adult. Parents/Caregivers will gain knowledge, skills, and cultural connections for their family.
Please register each child that will attend this class. Please refer to the chart above to determine your level based on the size of your family and your income. You will be able to choose one of these levels during the registration process. All families are welcome. No one will be denied participation due to inability to pay.
IF you are registering at a fee paying level, one half of your payment will be taken upon initial registration and the other half will be processed mid-January. A receipt for each payment will be emailed to you after processing. You may cancel your class registration before January 1 and you will not be responsible for the second payment.
En esta clase enfocada en la cultura latina, los padres y sus hijos jugarán, cantarán canciones, conocerán a otras familias y aprenderán juntos. Un maestro de primera infancia con licencia ofrece actividades de aprendizaje divertidas para niños desde el nacimiento hasta los cinco años. Un educador de padres autorizado hablará con los padres sobre cuestiones de crianza, desarrollo infantil, cómo hacer amigos, comportamiento y más. Las clases tendrán educación para los padres en el aula de los niños al principio y luego se trabajará hacia la separación gradual en otra sala. Es posible que se requiera que los niños menores de 2 años se queden con el adulto. Esta clase se reúne semanalmente durante todo el año escolar.
Esta clase es para familias de habla hispana. Nuestros maestros hablan inglés y contaremos con nuestro personal que habla español para traducir.

Consulte la tabla anterior de ingresos para determinar su nivel en función del tamaño de su familia y sus ingresos.. Podrá elegir uno de estos rangos de ingresos durante el proceso de registro. Todas las familias son bienvenidas. A nadie se le negará la participación debido a la imposibilidad de pagar.
Si se está registrando a un nivel de pago de cuota, la mitad de su pago se cobrará en el momento del registro inicial y la otra mitad se procesará a mediados de enero. Se le enviará por correo electrónico un recibo de cada pago una vez procesado. Podrás cancelar tu inscripción a clases antes del 1 de enero y no serás responsable del segundo pago.
