Preschool summer programming is a four-week language and literacy rich preschool experience. Classes will be held July 8th-August 1st, Monday - Thursday from 9a-11:30a.
Camp SAFARI is full-day childcare for youth entering Kindergarten through 4th Grade in 2024-25. Summit SAFARI is for children entering 5th and 6th grade in 2024-25. *Space is limited, site is not guaranteed.*
Early Camp SAFARI is a full-day childcare for 3, 4 or 5-year olds that are currently enrolled in a Bloomington Public Schools Preschool program.
Kids' SAFARI is a before and after school program offered for children in kindergarten through grade 5. The focus of these programs is on school-age childcare and enrichment opportunities designed to meet the changing needs of children and families.
Preschool SAFARI is designed for families who desire an early learning education experience with a childcare component available. There will be a licensed preschool teacher giving preschool instruction for 2.5 hours during the day with a paraprofessional.
New for 2023-24, afterschool Targeted Services programming will now all be under one umbrella and called Fusion. It will be a 4 day a week program, Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm to 4:45pm.
Take a break and join a “NO JUDGMENT” place to talk with other parents/caregivers about your kids, parenting challenges, or share a new tip you learned. This parent/caregiver class will focus on the topics that address the issues that are important to you in raising your young child from ages 0-8 years old. Come hear some new fresh ideas from a licensed parent educator and other parents/caregivers.
Learning goals for this class are:
Parents/Caregivers will gain knowledge, skills, and resources about raising their child.
Parents/Caregivers will connect with others and provide support, ideas, and camaraderie.
Please refer to the chart above to determine your level based on the size of your family and your income. You will be able to choose one of these levels during the registration process. All families are welcome. No one will be denied participation due to inability to pay.
